![]() The PS2 version doesn't emulate well at all and the Wii version required you to be able to set up motion control stuff. The less spoiled about it the better but it's a fantastic different take on Silent Hill as a series. Shattered Memories is absolutely worth playing after 1-4. I know there was a recent release on GOG, no idea if it's any good, but PS2 emulation is fine. A lot of interesting ideas that are worth seeing. ![]() It's not as good as 1-3 but it's still part of the original run and it was their attempt to be weird and experimental. It might not hit everything it tried to do but has a lot of good ideas on display (Even if stuff like lackluster monster designs kinda hurt it).Ĭlick to shrink.SH4 is worth playing. It's not a perfect game but I consider it the most ambitious out of the western titles barring Shattered Memories. ![]() They're moreso there if you want more Silent HIll than having any really interesting story to experience IMO.ĭownpour on the other hand I think is well worth checking out (But sadly, unless you have an Xbox that's basically out of hand unless you get into PS3 Emulation). Homecoming & Origins aren't bad either but more run-of-the-mill. Thankfully that one is on GoG and easy to get a hold of and play.Īfter that, I definitely recommend Shattered Memories (Any Version as it's mostly the same game, just Wii & PS2 have better graphics than PSP and Wii has the Waggle). If you play the first 3 and want more then you'll definitely be recommended SH4 (I haven't played that but 1-4 seem to be what people consider a packaged deal of what needs to be played).
